Oyhopper is the anarchist label manager, producer & technomusic-creator-lifeloving-wannabe. Island citizen & lighthouse watcher on a desolated island off the coast of Southern Norway. Oyhopper Records is a Norwegian record label specializing in techno music in its darkest, dystopian forms, exploring the journey into complex beats and experimental, raw soundscapes.

Collaboration

We publish the kind of music we love – music made for the dance floor and not for profit. We want to take the seriousness out of producing and distributing music, and continue to have fun with our focus on social bonds, collaboration and sharing. We are a close group of producers, a mix of total anarchy and a solid democracy at once.

Pulsating Lightbulb

We find inspiration in the raw shifting weather, the snow storms, the hot summer nights, the dancing light from the lightbulb pulsating from the lighthouse on the island and the dark sea surrounding it all. Enjoying the old school dance music and continiously exploring the darker corners of music - loving it all.
